| | Leather ShoesWhenever I hear someone tell someone "I only paid $20 for these shoes at that discount shoe store" I immediately want to pipe in and say why on earth would you ever consider wearing plastic shoes on your feet. Would you wear plastic underwear? Why, not. You're wearing plastic on your feet. Your feet need to breath. Your shoes need to absorb the perspiration that your feet make, why do you think we wear socks, to help aid that situation but if your shoes are not made of leather than you're just letting your feet simmer in it's own juices. That is why you should wear nothing but leather shoes on your feet. Leather is a natural material that absorbs moisture and don't let some crazy vegan tell you otherwise. We have been wearing leather on our feet since the beginning of time,and little else. Why, because leather shoes are also durable. Leather naturally allows bending and won't crack after a couple of wears like some plastic shoes will. Leather will comfortably break in becoming even softer and fit better on your feet. Plastic will just break. As in crack and be ready for the garbage. The more leather that is used in the manufacturing of your shoes the better. The ultimate shoes should have full leather uppers that are fully lined in leather with a full leather sole and stacked leather heel. While full leather shoes always cost more you can guarantee that those full leather shoes will last you twice as long if not longer than shoes that are made of lesser materials. I usually find it sort of curious and almost insulting when I see shoes that cut corners on the use of leather because it doesn't cost that much more to use full leather lining when they already lined the shoes half way in leather. I don't know why they would want to save that fifty cents or whatever it cost to just fully line the shoes in leather. They would end up being such a better shoe in the process and probably become a better brand and develop a loyal fan base of the brand.
